Security checkpoint

At every airport, you must pass through security before proceeding to your boarding area and aircraft. This process ensures that your aircraft remains free of any objects that may present a risk to your safety on board. When passing through security, you must show your boarding pass to an agent and then pass through a security checkpoint.

Items prohibited in hand baggage

Some items are prohibited in the cabin, including:
  • blades and any sharp, blunt, metallic or non-metallic items that may be used as weapons (for example: nail scissors, razor blades, etc.),
  • firearms,
  • hunting and sport weapon cartridges and ammunition,
  • perfume bottles exceeding 100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz.,
  • cosmetic aerosol containers exceeding 100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz.

These items will be confiscated by security staff and destroyed.

How can I save time
during baggage inspection?

Present the following items separately from your hand baggage:
  • Liquids (up to 100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz.) placed in a clear, sealed plastic bag
  • Your notebook computer taken out of its case
  • Your coat or jacket
  • Any metal objects (keys, coins, belt, etc.)
  • Any other item indicated by the security agent (shoes, etc.)
If you need to travel with a special medical device (pacemaker, prosthesis, medical treatment, etc.), you may need to present relevant documentation (medical certificate, prescription in your name, etc.) to airport staff at security checkpoints.
