Your safety is a priority for Air France.

Current heightened security and inspection guidelines will have an impact on your flight.
We suggest that you familiarize yourself with these measures and follow our recommendations.

On the ground

Security measures
Since the inception of the Vigipirate program, security measures have been reinforced. You may be asked to provide some form of identification more than once. Additional random inspections of your luggage are also likely.

Carry-on luggage

Accessories, including laptop computers, handbags, and briefcases can accompany your carry-on item(s).
No cutting tool, metallic or non-metallic, or anything that can be used as a weapon, can be brought into the cabin.
These objects will be removed when your luggage is inspected. Any object that has been removed is subject to destruction. When in doubt, place objects in your checked luggage.

Checked luggage

Every piece of checked luggage must be equipped with a label with your name on it.
If you do not have a label, Air France personnel can supply you with one. Do not place valuable objects in your checked luggage.

Recommendations...
You should always travel with some form of photo ID, even in mainland France.
Get your documents ready when the boarding announcement is made. Keep your boarding pass with you until you are inside the plane.
Go to your seat as soon as you are inside the plane and do not leave your seat while passengers are being counted.

The current security measures that have been established are intended to ensure your safety. We thank you for your understanding and ask that you comply with all inspections conducted by government authorities or Air France.
