Planète Bleue accompanies them from the moment they check in to the moment they are handed over to a guardian on arrival.
Unaccompanied minors receive a pouch, a badge, and a travel folder, so they can be identified at all times. They remain under the watchful eye of the Air France staff at all times.
Children between the ages of 5 and 12 can take advantage of this free service on all flights (between 4 and 12 on flights within France and to French overseas regions). Unaccompanied minors are given priority and are always first to board.
Children must carry all documents required by law:
Valid identity card with photo or valid passport…
and in many cases:
Authorization to leave the country
Allow at least an additional 30 minutes of check-in time for your child.
Before leaving the airport, you must wait until an Air France representative tells you the flight has left.
The person appointed by you to greet your child when the plane lands must report to the destination airport at the scheduled arrival time and supply valid proof of identity.
