Starting April 2, 2007, Air France will also introduce a service fee of $10 to all tickets purchased through its call center or, $15 for all tickets purchased through its city ticket offices and airport tickets counters throughout the U.S.
The service fee, applied to each ticket purchased, regardless of the destination or number of segments to be flown, is not applied on tickets purchased on www.airfrance.com/us and certain tickets including:
- Unaccompanied minors
- Accompanied infants
- Groups
- Frequent Flyer awards
- Passengers with disabilities whose bookings are subject to special authorization and/or quota including: wheelchair (WCHR-WCHS-WCHC), stretcher, oxygen and blind or deaf passengers traveling with guide dogs.
N.B. Accompanying passengers booked on the same PNR are also exempt from the service fee as well as re-issues (ticket changes), MCO (including those issued for FFP upgrade awards) and BCB (X-bags, transportation of pets).
