Oversize baggage or bulky items and musical instruments

Oversize baggage includes all items:
  • weighing more than 32 kg / 70 lb,
  • whose dimensions exceed158 cm / 62 in (height + length + width).

To transport an oversize baggage item in the hold, you must pay an extra fee. To determine the amount, please visit the Checked baggage section.
If your baggage item weighs more than 32 kg / 70 lb, please contact our sales department by phone to discuss the option best suited to your needs.

Please arrive at the check-in counter: 3 hours before an intercontinental flight, or 2 hours before a flight within France or Europe (including between Europe and North Africa or Israel).

Some oversized or fragile baggage items may be accepted in the cabin, as long as prior approval is granted by the telephone sales service. These items are placed on 1 or several additional seats. The weight per seat must not exceed 46 kg / 101 lb. You must pay the fare for these seats and their associated baggage allowances will be applied.

Please note: musical instruments should be stored in hard cases with rounded edges.

  • pole vaulting poles,
  • audio or video equipment,
