Art and design on the big screen

The second edition of the Providence Art and Design Film Festival celebrates creation and the 7th art.

Rhode Island, the smallest state in the United States, benefits from Boston's influence and its cultural effervescence as it's only an hour's drive away. It's a perfect opportunity for a getaway, especially since Providence, the capital of this pocket-sized state, is into the second year of its art and design film festival. The programming is original and sharp, exploring the many facets of art and design through a selection of films and documentary nuggets that are rarely honoured. In 2015, viewers were able to dive into the world of The Makers, discover the life of David Hockney, and even go back in history to witness the birth of the legendary Fabergé eggs.
