Kenneth Anger at the CAPC de Bordeaux

The second edition of ‘The Screen: Sounds of Artifice' is dedicated to film and video. Its focus this year is the relationship between film and music.

In a former 19th-century warehouse, which interior architect Andrée Putman transformed into a contemporary art museum, the CAPC (Centre for Contemporary Visual Arts) programmes exhibitions featuring rising national and international artists throughout the year. For the second edition of its festival ‘The Screen: Sounds of Artifice', the museum looks at the work of the legendary Kenneth Anger and his influence on American experimental cinema. Anger's work is seen through the prism of artists and international filmmakers from different generations.
