Midtown is considered to be one of the liveliest neighbourhoods of Houston: gourmets appreciate its restaurants and night owls alight in its trendy bars. Yet it is here that Genora Boykins and Sharon Owens decided to set up their small bed and breakfast of just seven rooms, an alternative for visitors seeking peace and privacy.
Inaugurated in 2010, the house is inspired by the architecture of the French Quarter of New Orleans. Outside you will find a small terrace, complete with rocking chairs from which you can admire the Downtown skyline. Like all authentic B&Bs, each room is different and tastefully decorated. A conference room can be found here as well because the owners wanted to provide services worthy of an upscale hotel. On the ground floor are the living room, the dining room for dinner, and the kitchen where you will be served a tasty breakfast with southern accents.
