Let's talk about the weather

15 local and international artists strive to alter the way we look at climate change by giving it a cultural stand.

At the Sursock Museum, the “Let's Talk About the Weather: Art and Ecology in a Time of Crisis” exhibition offers a wide array of artworks, installations and videos dealing with climate change, environmental disasters and also a fairer future for everyone.

Curators of the exhibition Nataša Petrešin-Bachelez and Nora Razian have selected 15 local and international artists, among whom filmmakers Marwa Arsanios, Ursula Biemann & Paulo Tavares, as well as video artist Joana Hadjithomas & architect Khalil Joreige.

This experiment in the heart of Beirut, amidst this beautiful Museum of Modern and Contemporary Arts, reveals itself as a kind of environmental alternative, for which climate change is at the service of art.
