A fresh wind blows on the Travessa das Pedras Negras. Step in and plunge into a most bucolic atmosphere. Masses of plants overhang the main dining area, and the large windows allow the restaurant to be bathed in natural light.
Young chef Antonio Galapito makes wonders with regional produce. Fish is caught in the night or early morning, and vegetables are supplied by small local producers. Dishes are refined and displayed in natural stoneware.
Try the black scabbardfish (a local delicacy) with nasturtiums and homegrown radishes, or succumb to the temptation of Iberian pork tenderloin with quince and chocolate pepper. For dessert, opt for goat cheese curds with fennel and clementine granita. A surprising spot to be tried without delay!
