“Reading in Polynesia” salon in Papeete

For the 16th edition, the “Lire en Polynésie” salon once again highlights aboriginal literature.

Every year, the “Lire en Polynésie” (Reading in Polynesia) salon finds its nest amidst the gardens of Papeete's Cultural Centre. For a few days, writers from the Pacific islands meet and greet curious readers.

This free literary event is all about meeting people and exchanging ideas and authors happily lend themselves to the exercise of book signing. The festival also offers artistic activities.

This very rich program seduces visitors who come to draw reading ideas and meet the new Polynesian wordsmiths.
