As you step out of the lift, your gaze is immediately drawn to the incredible circular bar: the realm of chief mixologist Lucas Jaques. It surrounds the trunk of an artificial tree, with branches reaching all the way up to the ceiling.
A giant sofa snakes through the Art Deco room, which harks back to the golden days of the 1930s, winding its way to the vast bay window where a breath-taking view over the Tagus, the Baixa neighbourhood and the Castelo de São Jorge awaits.
The menu is a masterpiece by French-Portuguese chef Olivier Da Costa, featuring modern cuisine with subtle Portuguese influences. Start with truffle, Parmesan and chive linguine, followed by octopus carpaccio with red pepper and tomato. To finish, we recommend the papos de anjo, a new twist on a classic dessert of passion fruit, mascarpone, and coconut. The dining options at SEEN are some of the most comprehensive in Lisbon: there is also a sushi bar and an oyster bar serving some of Portugal's finest. From Monday to Saturday evening, a DJ brings the place alive with the sizzling sound of house and electro, with the pumping music making the views over Lisbon even more magical!
