Sinatra: An American Idol

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra, the HistoryMiami Museum presents a multimedia exhibition exploring the life of this winner of 13 Grammy Awards.

Miami, which served as the backdrop for many of his movies and hosted many of his biggest concerts, is the perfect place to hold this retrospective of ‘Ol' Blue Eyes' organised by the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The exhibition traces the meteoric rise of his musical career and his success in Hollywood, but also the impact he had on American culture as a whole. Unpublished photographs, family souvenirs, letters, personal objects, illustrations, and a ton of music and videos testify to his professional and personal life, and reveal his many humanitarian engagements around the world. This is an intimate and compelling inquiry into one of America's biggest show-business icons.
