From the Hotel du Palais to the Villa Belza, the ceaseless spectacle of the ocean and its powerful waves, as well as the city's eclectic architecture, have inspired many writers. It was therefore only logical for the city to honour art in all its diversity.
Fed by popular traditions and contemporary artistic forms, the 12th annual Street Art Festival promotes original and crowd-pleasing encounters. Fifty theatre companies animate the city's streets with burlesque choreography, juggling, clowning, and other forms of street performance. Twenty outdoor shows are part of the programme. The eclectic programme makes it ideal for a family weekend.
