The Italian Eleganza at the McCord Museum

The McCord Museum presents an exhibition of Italian fashion, from 1945 to today.

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is at the initiative of this celebration of Italian fashion from the war to the present day at the McCord Museum — a long relationship unites the two institutions. The exhibition traces the influence of Italian creators of contemporary fashion with dresses and accessories from the country's most famous designers such as Valentino, Armani, Fendi, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Emilio Pucc. Advertisements, photographs, magazines, drawings, and film footage are also included in the displays. The McCord has nearly 20,000 pieces in its collections, spanning over three centuries..
