The major parade in the streets of Strasbourg

With troupes coming from France, Germany, and Belgium, the Carnival of Strasbourg gets larger every year!

Each year, between 30,000 and 45,000 people come to the Carnival of Strasbourg. Floats, marionettes, witches, Chinese dragons, and other masked creatures are accompanied by 500 musicians, and together they take possession of the city from General Koenig Quai to Place Kleber. The grand entry takes place on the most famous square, the Place Kleber at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday 13 March. This spectacle will please young and old, wherever the location of your hotel, as the parade wanders throughout the streets of the city, with a long route covering the Place du Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, the Rue de la Brigade Alsace-Lorraine, the Place d'Austerlitz, the Rue des Orphelins, the Place de Zurich and the Rue de Zurich, the Quai des Bateliers, the Corbeau Bridge, the Rue Vieux Marché aux Poissons, the Place Gutenbuerg, and finally the Rue des Grandes Arcades.
