Does it still need an introduction? The most famous race in the world unravels its prestigious and athletic route in order to transcend the Big Apple.

f there is only one event to keep in mind in the field of marathon running, that is it! Every year 50,000 finishers, be they confirmed athletes, pumped up non-professionals or celebrities (from Katie Holmes and Ryan Reynolds to Edward Norton) trample through the Big Apple under the roar of more than 2 million spectators.

This unique and intense atmosphere is 42.195 kilometres long and the path of this prestigious race takes different streets and avenues, crosses the Verrazano Bridge and various emblematic New York neighbourhoods, such as Brooklyn, 5th Avenue, Midtown and Central Park where it ends on an obviously very touching note.
