If you did not buy your ticket directly from Air France, please contact the point of sale (e.g. travel agency) to request your refund.
Special case: Ticket refund within 24 hours of purchase
If you booked your flight on www.airfrance.ie days or more prior to your flight´s departure, you can request your refund within 24 hours of purchase via e-mail: contact.en.us@airfrance.fr
Please provide the following information:
- Subject
- Passenger name(s)
- Flight number
- Flight date
- Booking reference
In order to process your refund request, we require an e-mail or letter to prove that your insurance has refused your claim or cancelation notice.
For same-day cancelations (before midnight), your bank account will not be debited. For cancelations made within 24 hours but after midnight, your bank account will be credited the full amount minus non-refundable service charges.
To request a refund, please follow the steps below:
If you have not checked in yet, you can request a refund if the following applies:
- You bought your ticket at least 48 hours and up to 12 months ago
- You have not received your boarding pass
- Your ticket is not a Flying Blue reward ticket
Please go to the My Bookings section of the website and follow the prompt to request a refund, free of charge. Alternatively, please request a refund via the online form.

Cancel my booking Request a refundPlease note: if you cancel a booking, your refund request will apply to all tickets within that booking. The refund amount is calculated based on your ticket’s fare conditions.
The refund amount is calculated according to the ticket fare conditions (excluding service fees which are non-refundable).

Please provide all relevant supporting documents (tickets, hospitalization records, description of extenuating circumstances obliging you to cancel your trip, etc.).
